Myth 1: "If Total Realty only charge 1% commission while others charge 3.95% then they must be cutting corners..."
THE TRUTH: Total Realty does not cut corners! We can offer a low commission rate because we have created a modern, efficient, technology centric and streamlined business. Other companies charge a high commission rate to cover overheads such as franchise fees, CEOs, multi-tiered management structures, lavish offices, and back office systems, none of which contribute directly towards selling your home.

Myth 2: "A 3.95% real estate company can offer more exposure..."
THE TRUTH: Total Realty uses the same media outlets as all real estate companies, in both printed media and the Internet. Think about where you would look when buying a house - exactly where everyone else would look - Trademe.co.nz, Realestate.co.nz, and the Realtor Magazine. Total Realty is a prominent figure in all of these leading marketing avenues and we lead the way with internet 'feature ads' for every home!
Myth 3: "You won't save that much money...you have to pay marketing as well..."
THE TRUTH: Yes, Total Realty charges a small amount of marketing but so do 3.95% companies.

Myth 6: "1% agents rely on high turnover to make a living and their service is compromised..."
THE TRUTH: No the fact is that many other agents sell so few properties that they need to charge nearly 4% in order to make a living! Did you know that the average agent in Christchurch for 2010 only sold one home every 2 months?
